Privacy policy
Your privacy, in plain words
KinetiRun (“Kineti Run” on the App Store) is a move-to-play game for families. This page explains what the game and this website do with information, in plain language.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Who we are
KinetiRun is made by Ashish Kumar Baghel, an independent developer based in India (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at ashishkubaghel@gmail.com. Please start the subject line with “KinetiRun:”.
The camera
The camera is used only for the camera ways to play: Body Motion, Hand Gestures, workout rounds and TV + phone. Touch play and TV-remote play don’t use the camera.
When a camera mode is on, the camera picture is analysed on the device to find the player’s body or hand, so the game can turn real moves into moves in the game. Camera pictures and video are never recorded, saved, uploaded or seen by us. The game does no face recognition and does not identify anyone.
The phone asks for permission before the camera is used. You can turn camera access off at any time in the phone’s settings. Touch play keeps working without it.
TV play over your home network
In TV + phone play, the phone and the TV connect over your home Wi-Fi after you scan the QR code on the TV. The phone sends only the moves (like left, right, jump and duck) to the TV. The camera picture is never sent to the TV, and the connection stays on your home network: it does not go through our servers.
On iPhone, you may be asked to allow KinetiRun to find devices on your local network. This is needed for TV play.
Scores and settings stay on your device
Your best score for each way of playing, your settings and how many free camera runs you’ve used today are stored on your device. None of it is sent to us or synced to a cloud account.
Deleting the game deletes this information from the device.
Purchases
KinetiRun is free to download. “Unlimited” is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is bought on the phone, behind a parental check, and can be restored after a reinstall (Go Unlimited → Restore Purchase).
Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card or bank details.
We use RevenueCat to check and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and the purchase details that Apple or Google report (such as what was bought and when), along with basic technical details such as the app version and device platform. It never receives camera images, names or contact details from the game. RevenueCat handles this information on our behalf. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Sharing
The results screen can make a score card. It is shared only when the player taps Share, using the device’s own share sheet, and you choose where it goes. The score card contains only scores and game artwork: no photos, camera images or names.
Children
KinetiRun is made for families: kids play, and parents make any purchase. Purchases sit behind a parental check.
The game does not collect personal information from anyone who plays, including children. There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app, and camera pictures never leave the device.
KinetiRun is developed in India and available worldwide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, including children under 13 in the United States (COPPA), children under the age of digital consent in the EU and the UK (GDPR, UK GDPR and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code), or anyone under 18 in India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). If you think a child has sent us personal information, for example in an email, contact us and we will delete it.
If you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to help you, keep it only as long as needed, and delete it if you ask.
This website
This website (www.kinetirun.app) uses no cookies, analytics, trackers or third-party embeds, and has no sign-up forms. Fonts are served from this site.
The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any web server, it may keep short-lived logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Store buttons take you to the App Store or Google Play, where Apple’s or Google’s privacy policies apply.
